Teleperformance's dedication to environmental sustainability continues to be embodied through Citizen of the Planet (COTP). Launched in 2008, COTP aims to drive significant ecological change, driven by our strong focus on reducing carbon emissions, reducing waste and pollution, preserving biodiversity, protecting wildlife, and increasing reforestation efforts.

Each year, we are united towards achieving a common goal of making the world a better – and greener – place for all.

COTP focuses on reducing energy consumption, minimizing waste, and promoting environmental awareness. Our efforts to minimize waste encompass comprehensive recycling programs and the promotion of digital communication to reduce paper consumption. Furthermore, Teleperformance champions environmental consciousness among the workforce through environmental awareness programs and participation in global sustainability events.

Teleperformance and One Tree Planted

Teleperformance’s partnership with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation, reinforces our commitment to environmental sustainability. Through our partnership, we address ecological challenges, including deforestation, climate change, and biodiversity loss.

Our tree-planting initiatives made a positive impact on several countries. 525K pledged and donated. Through the partnership, Teleperformance has contributed to global reforestation efforts in the following countries:

• Trees planted in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru (High Andes Polyepsis Forest) and in Portugal (Renature Leiria) in 2023
• Trees planted in the Philippines (Indigenous Reforestation in Eagle Habitat), in the United States (Wildfire Longleaf Restoration and Species Conservation and Longleaf Pine Restoration), and in India (Fruit Trees to Fight Hunger) in 2022

We strive to take a significant step towards environmental sustainability through our partnership with One Tree Planted. By supporting the planting of trees around the world, Teleperformance contributes to reforestation efforts and aids in habitat restoration, biodiversity protection, and the fight against climate change towards a better and greener world for all.
