Making a Positive Impact

Making a Positive Impact

Clémentine Gauthier - 01.02.2020

For Teleperformance, 2019 has been a year of many significant interactions—interactions that focused on forming and maintaining connections with our employees, interactions that solidified partnerships with our clients, and interactions that continue to make a positive impact on our communities and the world we live in.

As we continue to gear up for a world slowly shifting towards digitalization, we remain rooted to the commitment we have made to the world we live in, and to the people we live with. This year, our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives have produced countless smiles from all over the world. Our efforts have been well-received, as we all yearned for more ways to practice sustainability in our daily lives.

A work environment wherein diversity and inclusion are prioritized has inspired our people to continue supporting our social responsibility programs and initiatives over the years. Teleperformance’s Citizen of the World (COTW) continues to give where our employees live, having received tremendous support from our people who volunteered. From November 1, 2006 to December 31, 2018, we have received US$40,101,087 in total donations to help underprivileged people and victims of natural disasters. Our volunteers’ efforts are never in vain, as we continue to help thousands of people and children in need every year. Our Citizen of the Planet (COTP) initiatives continue to drive change and awareness in making our world a better place for all, as seen in the numbers: in 2018, we saw a 5.52% decrease in paper consumption and a 5.7% decrease in water consumption among employees. In addition, we also saw a 7.7% decrease in carbon footprint per employee year over year.

We invite you to take a look at our CSR numbers and to revisit a few COTW and COTP highlights through our latest infographic. We also would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our people who have volunteered in our CSR activities, events, and programs! Let's continue to make a positive impact.
